My Work
While I would love to include some of the technical writing and grant writing material on this website, everything I have written in those fields is considered proprietary and under a confidentiality agreement, and so cannot be publicly provided. I am however able to send those along in a more secure manner, so if you would like to see them, please reach out to hawynne17@gmail.com. Here are some other examples of my work in some other fields.
The Feeling Rainbow
This is The Feeling Rainbow, my work-in-progress children's book written by me and drawn by a good friend of mine. Originally developed for a children's literature and psychology class, this book focuses on fostering emotional intelligence in children by providing associations and examples of the different emotions they feel and oftentimes have trouble expressing.

Created as part of a narrative podcasting course in my undergraduate, myself and three men from Philadelphia rank and discuss Maryland's different sports venues across a few different categories. I also handled all of the audio editing and initial audio recording, and drafted the initial script. Our piece ended up being published on the Baltimore Watchdog:

Audio Reconstruction of the Finale of Kung-Fu Panda (2008)
For this project, I captured the video and completely muted the volume from that track in Reaper. I voiced over all speaking, grunts, yelps, etc. for all of the characters (with a respiratory infection that almost hospitalized me), incorporated sound effects either through my own Foley work or through YouTube or Soundly, and manipulated audio levels of all sources to recreate the scene as faithfully as possible. No way I was going to change the music though.
New Brochure for Accelerated B.S./M.S. in Writing at Towson University
I created a potential new brochure for use by the Towson University English Department to advertise their accelerated bachelor's/master's degree program. I combined images that were part of the University catalog as well as some that I took on my own, and included information most relevant to students who may not be aware of the program but could potentially be good fits for it. It should answer most questions that potential students would have about the program, but also who to talk to in order to ask a question that isn't answered in the brochure itself. I also kept in mind TU's style guide and requirements.
Teaching Portfolio & Reflections
This is a portfolio of teaching materials I created over the course of my Fall 2023 semester, some of which were used to instruct a few class periods of a first-year writing class at Towson University. It includes both a first draft and a final draft of each component, as well as a reflection that examines my progress from the first to final drafts.
